We were thinking of using TCM8230MD (Datasheet ,available at Sparkfun) camera sensor module from Toshiba for our Programmable Embedded Vision Project. But as we progressed in project we somehow ended up using OV9655 from Omnivision. However, we made some breakout boards for TCM8230MD camera module.
All the pins of TCM8230 are kept out on the board to be connected to microcontroller or power supply as applicable. Function name of all the Pins are also printed on silkscreen layer.
Apart from TCM8230MD it also has place for accommodating Serial Flash memory from Atmel, AT45DB642D (Datasheet). These small flash memory chips are available in up to 64 Megabit capacity. This board can be used as AT45DB642D Breakout Module as well.
Its a 2 in 1 Breakout module for AT45DB642D or Similar Memory chips with 28 pins TSOP package and TCM8230MD Camera. It also has some Prototyping area just in case you want to add some peripherals on the board like Voltage regulators or LED etc.
We made this PCB for prototyping but we made 6 of them. We have used only 3 out of six and 3 are still with us. If anyone looking for an TCM8230MD breakout module PCB or AT45DB642D flash Memory chips breakout PCB. We have them on sell (Only 3 are left).
You can drop a mail at devesh@electroons.com to enquire about prices or anything else.

Hello,
short question. Is there still one pcb left? I am interested in buying one.
helmut
Hi Helmut,
Yes I still have 2 PCB left. mail me at devesh@electroons.com If you are interested.
hi,
i can run TCM8230 with lpc1768.
my problem is, i need to have rotated image. (mean : 240 * 320)
in other word, with hsync change, get columns, no Rows.
